"It's the location that makes Paradise Mudgee stand out.
The cottage is not in sight of any roads, the gentle river, just 100 metres from
the house, is the perfect picnic lunch spot. Like something out of a Enid
Blynton story, except Australian with a resident mob of kangaroos. Quality pots,
pans and sharp knives in the kitchen make cooking a delight rather than a chore.

“Alan & I spent our honeymoon week at "Paradise", and paradise it was in every sense of the
word. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful scenery and wildlife with our own private
swimming hole. On the outskirts of Mudgee with all that wonderful region has to
offer. Accommodation was very comfortable with a warm 'homey' feel. All
facilities laid on as you would expect but it was the extras that made it
something special. The thoughtfulness of these extras showed how truly welcomed
and respected each guest is. We will definately be going back. "Paradise" is addictive.”

“We took our parents - who were visiting us
from South Africa
– to Paradise Mudgee for a few days after the festive season. We'd been
celebrating in the busy holiday areas and needed a place to relax before they
left back home. We found Paradise Mudgee online and made a booking. Virginia was a darling
to deal with and when we arrived at the house we were so pleasantly
surprised!!! What an amazing place!!! So quiet and peaceful and the touches of
the house make you feel welcome. The house is clean and in great condition and
there are wonderful surprises everywhere – from a great library, stunning
kitchen to the resident kangaroos (almost 60 of them)! :) My favourite place
was the veranda – the perfect place to get lost on. Defiantly worth trying -
almost want to keep it a secret for ourselves :)”

“Paradise has been conceived and set up
with all the love and attention to detail that makes a successful
and thoroughly enjoyable break. All the extra additions, the
fantastically appointed house, outlook, privacy, scenery, river,
kangaroos, blue wrens, eastern spinebills, cleanliness.... I could go on.
We hope to return soon.”

“I feel very privileged to have been able to share in this
wonderful piece of paradise in Mudgee.
Everything was perfect, from the cosy beds with beautiful crisp linen and
toasty warm electric blankets, to the comfy lounge on the verandah which was
perfect for the evening champagne purchased at the gorgeous Logans winery, and the added bonus of Austar
for enjoying by the open fire. Paradise is such a great location with so much
privacy and beauty and wonderful wildlife to enjoy. We will definitely be back,
perhaps to enjoy a summer dip in the beautiful river.”

My family of four (11 and 13 yr old girls)had a wonderful
two nights at 'Paradise'.The girls loved the creek, going to check on the
kangaroos and climbing trees. I loved the fact that we could not see another
house or road, our own private retreat. We had lovely nights playing games and
toasting marshmallows on the open fire.
I was a little nervous before arriving that the homestead may not have adequete
heating ,but within minutes the home was as warm as toast. Mudgee central is
only a short drive away and as the kitchen is so well equiped it was easy to do
a full on three course meal with all the appropriate dishes etc. We visted some
local vineyards which was fun, the girls liked tasting the olivies and olive
oils so we were all happy. We will be back again to "Paradise"
but will stay a little longer next time.
